ASI Satpal and personnel from the Sadak Surakhya Force (SSF) responded swiftly to the scene. The SSF played a crucial role in managing the rescue and traffic congestion caused by the accident.

SHO Gurmukh Singh confirmed that the truck driver fled the scene, leaving the vehicle behind. Preliminary investigations suggest the overloaded truck’s reckless overtaking led to the accident. An FIR is being filed under relevant sections of the BNS, and efforts are on to locate the truck’s owner and the absconding driver.
“The overloaded truck overturned partially onto the car, causing severe damage. It also damaged the road divider, blocking one side of the highway and causing heavy traffic congestion,” said SHO Singh. The road was cleared after hours of disruption.
